Apr 30th – WayPoint Vets Ride. The Southern Group will link up at Bumpus HD Murfreesboro at 0700 for KSU at 0715. No particular hurry to get there as registration continues until 1000. Hope to see a good showing as Waypoint's Honcho is our own Sarah Rogue Lee and their work is doing good things for Veterans of all Branches. 

Apr 29th / May 1st – TN 18-3 “Hunt in the Smokies”

Apr 23rd / 24th – Rattle Snake Inn Ride (Muscle Shoals, AL). If you are not linking up with one of our group of riders (link up information later), then be at the Loveless Cafe NO LATER THAN 0730 on April 23.  They are putting us first in line so please do not be late. Once we depart there, we will take the Natchez Trace to the Natchez Trace Harley Davidson dealership where they will have a band, beer and food for sale. Once the Cold Water Inn is open, we will then Check-in.  Their Phone number is 1-256-383-6844 for reservations and mention "Combat Veteran's Motorcycle Assn" for the small discount.  These reservations MUST be made before April 15th for a headcount to the Loveless Cafe. From there we will depart in mass to the Rattle Snake Saloon where we need to be there NLT 1715 hours.

Apr 23rd – TN 18-11Southern Thaw Ride (Estill Springs, TN)

Apr 16th – Spring Picnic / Chapter Meeting @ Smith Springs Park. This time we have smoked chicken wings, burgers and dogs. "Beast" is coordinating sides, condiments, paper supplies, buns and other bead, flatwear etc. Please don't forget different flavors of wing sauce!!!!! There will be cornhole and kiddie cornhole as well as other games (as long as you bring em)! We could use a decent boom box for sounds and a rumor is afoot about karaoke. Various and sundry liquid refreshments will be provided by the individual members for their party. Please, no flaunting of adult beverages. There's plenty to do at Smith Springs on beautiful J Percy Priest Lake. Park is open from 6am to 7pm. I will be there around 7am to set up my kitchen. Come as early as you like and help set up. Remember, our Chapter meeting is at 1pm followed by wonderful food and activities. Park address is: Smith Springs Park, 3060 Smith Springs Road, Antioch, TN 37013. Appreciate all who can do so to ride in for this as vehicle parking is puny.

Apr 9th – Anyone interested in a day ride will meet at Coach’s Eastgate Grille Saturday April 9th, 0845 hours. KSU will be 0900 where we will ride back roads to eat lunch at the Farmhouse Restaurant, 9201 TN-111, Byrdstown, TN 38549 (PH 931-864-4070). Following lunch, we will proceed on to Sgt. Alvin C. York State Historic Park, 2609 N York Hwy, Pall Mall, TN 38577  Upon finishing our visit to the park we will head back to Coach’s and our homes.

April 2nd – April Fools Ride (TBD)

Mar 24th – The Patriot Guard has invited us to the presentation of a home to a Wounded Warrior. Staging Time: 08:30, 225 Little Hope Rd, Clarksville, Tennessee 37043. Ride Captain: Darrell "Chaser" Vance 931-802-4558. Briefing: 0845am, KSU: 0900am *estimated. Weather: Partly Cloudy with temps from 48F to 55F around noon time.

Mar 20th – The Patriot Guard has informed us of an upcoming funeral escort. Jones Davis, Veteran USA - WWII, Lewisburg, Tennessee. Jones Davis served from 1944 to 1946 with duty in Burma in a Quartermaster Truck Company, separating with the rank of PFC. His awards include the World War II Victory Medal.  Staging Time: 11:45, Greater First Baptist Church 512 North 6th Ave Lewisburg, Tennessee 37091 Ride Captain: Rob Moreland (931) 224-0610 Special Instructions: PGR will stand a flag line during visitation from 12 to 1 PM. Following a 1 PM service there will be a 10 mile escort to Hopewell AME Cemetery where we will stand a silent flag line during burial ceremonies.

January 2nd - Cancelled due to inclement weather. SoCal will be leading the Polar Bear Run on 2 January. We will meet in Murfreesboro at the Mapco station near Bumpus Harley Davidson located at Thompson and Broad at 0900 hours with a KSU of 0930. For those of you who would like to go to Murfreesboro in a "pack", we will meet at the Circle K gas station at the corner of Hwy 109 Bypass and South Water Ave in Gallatin at 0745 hours with a KSU of 0800 hours.
