DANIEL "SOCAL" BRECIK

Originally from San Bernardino, CA. Stationed in Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan; MCAS El Toro/Tuston, CA; Ft. Greeley, AK and have deployed to both Operational Enduring Freedom and Operational Iraqi Freedom. Currently serve in the TNARNG and work as a full-time federal military technician. Engaged to the beautiful Maryli " LA GUARA" Pereira, we have 7 children and 2 grandsons between the both is us.

CHAPTER EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Michael "Taps" Powell (aka Beer Captain®)

I enlisted in the US NAVY in 1992 on delayed entry program at the young age of 19. I shipped off to Boot Camp on my 20th Birthday. I served from 1993 to 1999 aboard the USS SAVANNAH AOR-4 (Pit Snipe) and the USS ENTERPRISE CVN-65 (A-Ganger). I achieved the rank of Petty Officer Second Class (Machinist Mate) and qualified “TOP WATCH” in both M & A divisions. I never planned for the military to be a career but I did make the most out of the time I invested in it. In 99’ looking for a change of pace from military life and VA. Beach, I moved my wife of now 26 years to Nashville and we’ve been here ever since. I have 3 awesome children; 23-19-16 and 1 granddaughter, all of whom I am very proud of. I have 2 French Bulldogs and a Mini Pot Bellied Pig named Jimmy Dean. There’s rarely a dull moment here at the Powell house with these crazy critters.

PAUL "WINGMAN" MOORE

USAF/TN Air National Guard (Retired) 33 Years.
Born in Austin TX, but have lived most of my life in the GREAT State of Tennessee. I am married to my charming wife, Gloria going
on 30 years. I have two children and 4 grandchildren.
I was deployed to Somalia-Operation Provide Hope, Macedo
nia, Turkey, Germany-Operation Provide Promise. I was in Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm. I was activated and spent 2 years in Kuwait, United Arab Eremites, Saudi Arabia and Uzbekistan in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
I enjoy water sports, motorcycle riding, shooting and eating. I have been a member of the CVMA® for 4 years and I am a member of the American Legion and VFW.

In 1992 as I came to the end of my Guard contract, I decided to join the US Navy where I earned the honor of being the top recruit graduate of the four graduating companies for the cycle. I attended Navy A School for Military Postal Clerk at Ft Ben Harrison, IN. I served abord the aircraft carrier USS Eisenhower (CVN-69) October 10, 1992. While on the IKE I worked my way onto the Forward Deployed Logistics Detachment as the team's LPO (NCOIC for you non-Navy types). The team deployed ahead of the ship and the additional 14 ships in the battle group in order to feed the critical parts, material, and new crew members back to the battle group. During my time on the IKE I was involved in Operation Uphold Democracy in Haiti (Sept 94), Operation Deny Flight (Bosnia 95) and Operation Southern Watch (95). I was later awarded the Navy Achievement Medal for my time on the Detachment. After the Navy I rejoined the Army National Guard and was a member of L Troop 3/278 ACR in Gallatin TN. During that time I was deployed with my unit in June of 2004 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

I am a veteran of the US ARMY, served 4 yrs active term/4 yrs inactive term during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm in Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Kuwait. I am an avid rider with over 45 years of riding experience, and I am passionate about every part of the biker lifestyle. I put my heart and soul into everything I do. I am married to the sweet, Merri Ellen “Sugar” Hodges and consider the brothers/sisters in this chapter...my family.

Vance "Starman" Edwards
I served in the United States Navy from 1989 until 1991 as an Electronics Technician and then in the KY Army National Guard from 2003 until 2009 as an MP, and deployed to Iraq in 2004 until June 2005.  After that I worked for the VA in Salem, VA as a Prosthetics Representative. I have a wonderful wife, Christy "Shooter" Edwards, 6 children, and 5 grandchildren and have been retired from the VA since 2015.

Born in Arizona and raised in jail where they shut the doors for me. Ended up on the streets of Florida at 16 years of age as a runaway. Two years later I found hope in a Savior and validation in the military.
 
Looked back once and didn't like the view. Eyes-Front-Always.

CHAPTER QUARTERMASTER

Christopher "Gator" Edwards
I joined the U.S. Navy immediately after high school and served from August 1987 until August 1991. During my enlistment, I did 2 Mediterranean deployments aboard the USS Charleston LKA-113, one of which was during Desert Storm. I was a Quartermaster (Second Class Petty Officer, Navigation). Our ship deployed Marines into Turkey during Desert Storm to build the tent city for the Kurdish. I also had the privilege of going to numerous ports such as Cuba, Puerto Rico, Honduras, Spain, Turkey, Morrocco, Italy, Israel, and France.

I am married to Kristy (LilBit) Edwards. We have two grown children and a killer Chihuahua named Tessa. I enjoy riding, shooting, music, boating, RV’ing and general tinkering. We are both Life Members of both the CVMA and the VFW. We enjoy volunteering and giving back to our community.
